Clearwire is like Cable or DSL in that it is True Broadband Internet.  The difference is simple.  With Cable or DSL, you must be connected to a Cable or Phone line in order to get the service.  Our equipment sends and receives the signal to and from a local tower wirelessly.  You no longer have to be tethered to an outlet in a specific room to get Broadband!  The signal that is sent and received is a fully Encrypted signal and we utilize a Licensed Frequency!  Your connection is not only dedicated, but it is secured as well! 

We offer two different methods of connectivity to our Broadband services.  You can go with our Desktop Modem, our Mobile Laptop card, or even Both if you Prefer.

We also offer home phone service!  Now you can use your Broadband internet service as a means for connecting your land-line phone.  Our service includes Unlimited Local and Long Distance calling plus all of the options!  You get everything for a fraction of what the traditional phone companies are charging for Basic Phone Service!  You can even keep your number!



Desktop Modem



The desktop wireless modem is similar to what you would have with a Cable or DSL service.  It is a seperate box that sits on your desk and provides you with Broadband internet.  The modem requires an external power source (110VAC transformer included) and provides you with an ethernet connection output.  The Ethernet cable (included) may be connected to the LAN port on your Desktop or Laptop.  If you would like to share the connection you can simply plug the modem into a Router.  Want to be online with the desktop and also be able to connect wirelessly from anywhere in your home?  Just plug our modem into a Wireless Router!  One feature that Cable or DSL cannot match.... It's Portable!  You can take it with you!  You can even have Broadband in your Car if you would like!

There is no Software to Install on your computer.  Just plug it in and start surfing!

Mobile PC Cards



Need Mobility on your Laptop?  We also offer Mobile Laptop cards!  There are two different configurations of Mobile Laptop cards.  PCMCIA (TYPE II) or Express Card.  All laptops are equipped with one of the other.  Generally speaking, a newer laptop (2-3 years old or newer) will most likely have an express card slot, while older laptops will have a PCMCIA (TYPE II) card slot.  Call us if you are unsure of which type you need.  We can make that determination in just a minute or two.

What's the advantage of the PC card over the modem?  The PC card slides into the laptop and is powered by the laptop.  It's all about convenience.

VOIP Phone Service



Do you really need a Land-Line Phone?  If not, that's great!  It's not necessary to get our Broadband Service!
