Because you must be a Clearwire Broadband Customer in order to get our VOIP service, We Control the end-to end Quality of the Service. Since the network was built to provide specifically Broadband and VOIP services, the network was designed and is managed in a way that will provide you with superb call quality and reliability. Voice packets do not compete with data packets on the Clearwire Network!
911 Availability!
Clearwire understands the importanceof 911 service. Your Clearwire Phone Service will not be activated until your number has been tied directly to your address in the 911 database. This means that you can be certain that if you need to dial 911, the emergency personel will be able to locate you just as they would with a land-line phone.
Any VOIP 911 Service is slightly different than traditional phone service and is subject to outages due to power failure and internet connectivity issues. It is important that you educated yourself on the differences. Here are a couple of links for more information:

Call Blocking
You can block certain types of outgoing calls. Block all calls to any location outside of North America with the International Call Blocking feature.

Secondary Numbers
You can add up to 15 phone numbers to your Clearwire VOIP line. Select numbers from any Clearwire Market nationwide to allow friends or family to dial a local number to call you, avoiding any long distance charges. All of the calls to secondary numbers will ring through to your primary Clearwire line. The monthly rate for secondary numbers is only $9.99 monthly!
Keep Your Phone Number
Transferring your phone number to Clearwire is easy! Transferring the number usually takes less than 10 days, but can take up to 30 days to complete. During the transfer process we will provide you with a temporary phone number so that you can start to enjoy your Clearwire phone service immediately. Available in select Clearwire Markets.
